Biography

As a young boy in Massachusetts, Albert Cummings learned the requisite three chords on the guitar but soon gravitated to the banjo and bluegrass music. But after hearing Stevie Ray Vaughan play in the '80s, he returned to the six-string hit the woodshed. Some years later, after Vaughan's death, Cummings shared a bill with the late Texas bluesman's rhythm section, Double Trouble, who were so impressed by Albert's fire and passion that they volunteered to play on and produce his 2003 debut album, From the Heart. Since then, Cummings has released three stellar blues discs and become one of the brightest new stars of the blues genre. To learn more, please visit AlbertCummings.com.
