Biography

After moving to Nashville in 1978, Ray Flacke performed on many $10-per-song demos and other freebies. Two years later as his reputation quickly spread, Flacke's talents as a country session player soon led him to become a recognized force on the Nashville scene. His credits include palying with such sarts as Emmylou Harris, Ricky Skaggs, Johnny Paycheck, and Lacy J. Dalton, to name just a few. His television appearances include "The Grammy Awards," "Solid Gold," "Nashville Now," "Hee Haw," "The Merv Griffin Show," and "The Country Music Awards." Flacke was also the creator and instructor of the popular Nashville-based Ray Flacke Country Guitar Clinics, and still offers private master classes in the Nashville area.
